Nicky Morgan is a painter, illustrator, writer and educator. She has extensive visual arts training from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Langara College and the Banff College of Fine Arts. Her process of art making involves personal surrender and creative discovery. Through her work she strives to balance expression with both intention and spontaneity, losing herself in the exploration of color and form. Nicky has published five books for children and her art has been featured in exhibitions and is held in private collections across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. She is an active member of numerous arts interest groups and grand organizations that support emerging artists. Nicky currently resides on Salt Spring Island but teaches creative workshops and art classes around British Columbia.
