Created by Mogens Lassen in 1962, the Kubus candleholder was designed with a sharp sense of the contemporary Functionalist style, pioneered by the Bauhaus School. The Kubus bowl was a natural extension of the collection and can be used to display anything from blossoms to herbs, fruits, vegetables or your favourite candies. Still produced in Denmark with a focus on quality craftsmanship, the Kubus collection remains an iconic series of design objects, sought after by architects and decor-enthusiasts alike.
- Lacquered steel for the black and white versions
- Brass version: Untreated brass-plated metal. Brass is a material that patinates which means that the surface of the products will gradually change over time.
Dimensions: 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ – Metal frame profile width: 1/4″Care:
- Candleholders: Place the candleholder in the oven at 75 degrees celsius upside down on a baking sheet covered with parchment for 15-20 minutes. Follow by polishing with a moistened cloth. Do not use boiling hot water, scrub sponges or other sharp/scratchy objects. We recommend not to let the candles burn the whole way down to the bottom of the candlestick holder as this may discolour or damage the paintwork on your product.
- Bowls: Wipe with a cloth. Not suitable for dishwasher.
