Kubus 4 candleholders and bowls

By By Lassen

With a sharp sense of contemporary Functionalist style inspired by the Bahaus school, Mogens Lassen designed the iconic Kubus candleholder in 1962, a piece once reserved solely for family and close architect colleagues. The bowl is a natural extension of the candleholder.  It's suitable for home decoration year-round and can contain everything from blossoms to herbs, fruits, vegetables or your favourite candy. The bowl can be separated from the frame. The Kubus candleholder and bowl are still produced in Denmark with a focus on high quality and solid craftsmanship. They have both achieved the status of modern international design icons among architects and design connoisseurs.

    • Brass version: Untreated brass-plated metal. Brass is a material that patinates which means that the surface of the products will gradually change over time.

Dimensions: 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ – Metal frame profile width: 1/4″

    • Candleholders: Place the candleholder in the oven at 75 degrees celsius upside down on a baking sheet covered with parchment for 15-20 minutes. Follow by polishing with a moistened cloth. Do not use boiling hot water, scrub sponges or other sharp/scratchy objects. We recommend not to let the candles burn the whole way down to the bottom of the candlestick holder as this may discolour or damage the paintwork on your product.
    • Bowls: Wipe with a cloth. Not suitable for dishwasher.
