Meaning “grandmother” in Swedish, Mormor is a humorous and functional series for the modern kitchen and dining experience. Featuring a traditional tea towel pattern, the collection is inspired by the atmosphere and character of older kitchens with the hope to “transform clichés into a modern context”, as its designer Gry Fager explains. The collection comprises a small plate, a large plate, a small bowl, a sugar bowl with a cork lid, a jug, a cup, a small buttering board, a large buttering board, a decanter with a cork lid, a salad bowl and eggcups. The various pieces can be put together exactly the way you want to suit different needs and occasions.
