Enso Black 1 was designed by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen, of Norm Architects, for Paper Collective. Through his Enso series, Bjerre-Poulsen pays homage to the rawness of traditional Japanese calligraphy - applying ink to paper and nothing more. The overlapping rectangular forms create depth in the piece, revealing the beautifully rich textures and tones of the ink.
